3 Daily Practices Guaranteed to Make You a Better Writer

Oct 25, 2023
  1. Copywork

You’ve probably heard of this exercise before. Some people refer to it as the Ben Franklin Method. FInd someone’s work you like and copy it. Word for word; punctuation and all. And do it with pen and paper. I’m told doing this exercise by hand will forge new neural pathways in your brain.

2. Quora

You might be wondering, “Do people still use Quora?” It appears so. Go on Quora and answer one question every day. Count it as writing practice.

3. Capture Headlines

Start capturing headlines that make you click. I use Notion for this. If you want some extra credit, take notes about why the headline was effective.
