The biggest barrier is regulation.

In an interview with CCTV, NYU Stern Professor Arun Sundararajan discussed some of the challenges with implementing autonomous vehicles in the future.
Professor Sundararajan thinks the single biggest challenge facing automakers is the perceptions of safety among consumers. He notes moving to autonomous vehicles is a significant behavior change many auto owners will have to go through before they can fully embrace the technology.
100,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair, Nanorobots, or Nanobots, are tiny machines set to change the course of humanity. Nanotechnology, the engineering involved with designing and building Nanobots, have been in the research and development phase for over two decades, and technically, don’t exist yet. Meaning, no artificial, non-biological Nanobots have been created.
The promise, however, lies in medicine. The potential includes molecular manufacturing and medical Nanobots. Swarms of Nanobots will flow autonomously through the bloodstream, repairing cells, fighting disease, and guarding against infection.

Today’s emerging tech feature is a two-fer. Rockets and 3D printing, or better yet, 3D printed rockets. Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk get most of the limelight in the private space race. However, this week Relativity Space, the first company to 3D print an entire rocket, just closed a $650 million round of funding with lead investor Fidelity Management & Research Company, LLC. The funding enables scaling of the Terran R program, along with long-term infrastructure development.
The company’s simplified supply chain is disrupting 60 years of aerospace engineering and manufacturing. …
Lithium-ion Battery Systems for Space Applications
Lithium-ion battery systems reliability for space applications can have severe consequences. Xerotech, a manufacturer of advanced lithium-ion batteries, is working with the European Space Agency to qualify their proprietary PPR technology for space applications.
Demonstrating that our proprietary PPR solution exceeds the extremely stringent requirements for space applications will provide tremendous technical validation of a core pillar of Xerotech’s battery safety concept which has already been proven in ground-based applications.” said Barry Flannery, CEO and Founder of Xerotech.
PPR, known as passive propagation resistant design, is a critical safety requirement for space missions; to…
There is a principle in Taoism called Wu Wei. Wu, meaning non, not, or no. Wei has multiple meanings. Some interpret it as action, or making. I prefer Alan Watts translation of “forcing” — as in “not forcing”.
We can see it illustrated in the performances of actors, athletes, and musicians. We sense it immediately when the performance is forced.
According to Alan, many who study the Tao Te Ching interpret this principle as doing nothing. They endorse a laziness, a laissez-faire approach; always be passive.
It doesn’t mean that. There is a time for action. Alan illustrates the principle…
This isn’t meant to be political. It’s illustrative of how governments and businesses can manipulate data to say whatever they want, knowing the public rarely engages in second order thinking.
According to The Hill:
Despite the economy surpassing its pre-COVID-19 levels in the first quarter, the current unemployment rate — 6.1 percent — remains well above its 3.5 percent pre-COVID-19 rate. When today’s lower labor force participation rate is factored in, today’s unemployment rate is higher still.

It’s old saw among petrol heads; Everyone should own a 12 cylinder once in their life. For the overachievers among us, why not grab a V16?
The Cizeta-Moroder is the genius of Italian Designer Claudio Zampolli and Composer Giorgio Moroder; expressed by famed-automotive designer Marcello Gandini.
The V16T has a 16 cylinder transversely mounted engine placed just forward of the rear axle and behind the seats. It shares a single cylinder block — providing single output from the center of the engine, mated to a five-speed transaxle.
The relationship didn’t last. Moroder and Zampolli parted ways. The car debuted as…
In a discussion with Tom Bilyeu, Trevor Moawad relayed a story his father told him about one of the most successful magazine entrepreneurs in the world. The man was failing out of high school and struggled growing up. He was raised by a single mom in the Midwest. He promised his mother he’d take the SAT test. He didn’t expect to get a good score.
His score came back. He got a 1480 out of 1600 on the SAT. His mother, knowing her kid, asks, “Did you cheat?” He swore to her he didn’t cheat. In his senior year he…
Wake up naturally.
Waking up with an alarm clock interrupts your natural sleep cycle. Circadian rhythms are synchronized to the light/dark cycle of the sun. Using an external means to wake up releases stress hormones and deprives your body of needed energy.
Waking up naturally does wonders for your health and productivity.
Breathing through you nose.
How we breathe has a major impact on our health. Breathing through your nose allows the lungs to extract oxygen efficiently. Mouth breathing can affect your skeletal structure, leading to sleep apnea, snoring, and possibly asthma or allergies.
Breathing incorrectly can also result in…
