Did you know a brawl took place on the House floor that ended In laughter?
Picture it, February 1858. Some 50 dandies in the House got into fisticuffs right there on the House floor.
The melee ended when one House member lost his wig, picked it up, and put it on backwards.
The entire chamber erupted into spontaneous laughter.
They sure don’t make them like they used to anymore.
