Their flagship model, EVI 3, beats GPT-4o in empathy, expressiveness, and naturalness. And now they’re hiring a Senior or Staff AI Research Engineer to help scale the infrastructure behind their novel training approach Reinforcement Learning from Human Expression (RLHE).

You’ll work on:

— Distributed model training + inference

— Massive multi-modal datasets (text, audio, video)

— High-performance ML systems and benchmarking

— Empathic AI research that serves human well-being

Ideal candidates have:

— 2+ years working with transformer models

— Strong Python + PyTorch skills

— Experience deploying production-grade ML systems

— Passion for AI alignment and expressive computing
