20 percent of EV/Hybrid automobile owners go back to gas power, according to research at UC Davis. The survey covered more than 4,000 households who owned electric vehicles in California.

The biggest hurdle? Charging. It takes too long to get a “full tank”. In California, most homes aren’t optimized for charging cars. (I suspect it’s similar throughout the US)

According to the study, Tesla (TSLA) owners were the least likely to switch back to gas.

BUSINESS & INVESTING

Twitter (TWTR) closed down 15 percent Friday after reporting earnings. User growth in the first quarter was lower than expected.
