MindsDB Raises $16.5M from Benchmark to Create More ML Applications

MindDB is built to speed up the process of building AI powered apps. With over 70 plus integrations and over 13k GitHub stars, the company is one of the fastest growing developing platforms out there.

The company recently raised a $16.5 million Series A from Benchmark. The new investment follows the companies latest integrations with Hugging Face and OpenAI, allowing anyone to easily integrate NLP and generative AI models into their databases with only a few lines of code.

MindsDB was founded in 2017 by Adam Carrigan (COO) and Jorge Torres (CEO) and is backed with over $24M in total funding from Benchmark, Walden Catalyst Ventures, YCombinator, OpenOcean, SpeedInvest, MMC and the University of California Berkeley SkyDeck fund.
