2 min readOct 22, 2022

Kudos Technologies, Inc closed a $7 million seed round. The round was led by Patron, and included investments from QED Investors, SciFi VC, SV Angel, Precursor Ventures, Newtype Ventures, Chingona Ventures — and over forty angel investors, according to a company release.

The round will enable Kudos to further develop their smart wallet that maximizes consumer rewards while shopping online. The company will also allocate funds to future initiatives like launching cashback boosts across 12,000 merchant partners and user growth, as well as other features not yet announced. In addition, they’ve launched their mobile and desktop extensions to the public.

“Our goal at Kudos is to simplify online checkout and maximize rewards and benefits to the consumer,” said Kudos Co-founder and CEO Tikue Anazodo. “We identified an opportunity to build a new wallet product with a more consumer-focused lens and are excited to provide greater utility and benefits to our users.”

Kudos is a smart wallet that works everywhere users shop online and helps them save time and earn money whenever they shop. Since the beta launch, Kudos has seen downloads increasing an average of 36 percent month over month and currently supports checkout at over one million websites. The company was founded in 2021 by a team of Google, Affirm, and PayPal alumni.
