The 400 GT 2+2 is the beautiful, fiery lovechild of the 350 GT, and it doesn’t disappoint. Unveiled in 1966, the 400 GT 2+2 is the embodiment of the quintessential grand tourer. The engine is a 3.9-liter quad-cam V12 beast that churns out a respectable 320 hp, and the interior is a luxurious blend of leather and wood.
The driving experience is sublime. With its independent suspension system and four-wheel Girling disc brakes, the 400 GT 2+2 feels like a finely tuned athlete, ready to sprint at the drop of a hat. The V12 sings a heavenly song at full tilt; It’s a car that begs to be driven.
All total, 224 units of the 400 GT 2+2 were built from 1966 to 1968, when it was replaced with the Islero.
