DETAILS:

The Lamborghini Espada is a four-seat grand tourer produced by Lamborghini between 1968 and 1978. The car was designed by Marcello Gandini and is powered by a 3.9-liter V12 engine that produces around 350 horsepower. It can reach a top speed of around 150 mph and can do 0–60 mph in about 6.7 seconds.

The Espada was Lamborghini’s first four-seater and was aimed at a more practical market than the company’s other models. It features a 2+2 seating configuration, which makes it ideal for families or those who want to take long trips in luxury and style. However, it isn’t just practical but it’s also a true sports car. It sports a sleek, futuristic design and a powerful V12 engine gives it outstanding performance even today.

“The Espada was Lamborghini’s first four-seater and it was a truly remarkable car. It had a futuristic design, a powerful V12 engine and it was a blast to drive. It’s a true classic that still looks and performs great today.” — Valentino Balboni, former Lamborghini test driver and brand ambassador.

A total of 1,217 Espadas were produced during its 10-year production run. It was available in various models, like the Series I, Series II, and Series III, each featuring different design and technical improvements as it evolved. The Espada is still a highly sought after ride by car enthusiasts and collectors alike.
